A brief background of the character:
Fox is the son of James McCloud, the original leader of the Star Fox squadron. Fox dropped out of the Cornerian Academy after his father was kidnapped by Doctor Andross. Together with three other pilots the new Star Fox team manages to defeat Andross and save the galaxy.
Across the period of several years team Star Fox becomes famous and Fox himself developes a romantic relationship (which he is rather shy about) with a girl named Krystal that he meets during a mission on Sauria. However, this relationship came to an abrupt and tragic (for Fox) end when Krystal fell in love with a pilot named Panther on Star Fox's rival team Star Wolf.
Overcome with grief, Fox leaves both Star Fox and piloting behind. He now makes his living as a bounty hunter and resides in Agrabah, although he travels often due to his work.
